Our Experience

Defending a Major Shipbuilder in SIAC Arbitration

Represented a leading European shipbuilding corporation in an international commercial arbitration under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). The amount in dispute was approximately EUR 20 million.

Expert Testimony on U.S. Sanctions in ICC Arbitration

Prepared a legal opinion and provided expert testimony on the application of U.S. sanctions in a dispute between large industrial enterprises under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Developing a Multi-Jurisdictional Asset Protection Strategy

Designed a complex defense strategy for an international corporate group against enforcement of an arbitral award rendered in breach of mandatory provisions of law. The project included treaty analysis across 7 jurisdictions and coordination of local counsel.

Representing an International Client in MAC Arbitration

Acted for an international client in a dispute with a Russian state-owned enterprise under the rules of the Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (MAC). The amount in dispute exceeded $7 million.

Defense in a JAMS Arbitration on Confidentiality and Non-Circumvention

Represented a co-respondent in a dispute concerning alleged breaches of a non-disclosure and non-circumvention agreement in proceedings administered by the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS, U.S.).
