About Buzko Krasnov

In 2015, after several years of working at international law firms, two young lawyers simultaneously came to the same conclusion: "We can do it ourselves—and better." The idea of leaving large international firms was already floating around among their most progressive colleagues, but few dared to take the plunge into the unknown: the prospect of being left without clients and the support of large firms was terrifying.

It was all the easier for Roman Buzko and Evgeny Krasnov to take this step because their young, sparkling eyes saw only opportunity. Thus, with great ambition and without a single client, the firm Buzko Krasnov was founded 10 years ago.

Since then, our defining trait has been staying ahead of the curve. We made it part of our DNA to master emerging trends before they become mainstream.

This forward-thinking approach led to the launch of niche practices years ahead of the market—including Crypto, Space Law, Fashion Law, and AI. We developed unique legal templates for new industries, launched Skala.io (our international legal platform), and hosted our own tech regulation conference.

Clients

Historically, our first clients were startups, business angels and digital entrepreneurs. But time goes on, and everything changes: over the past 10 years, our clients have grown, and we have grown with them. Today, our roster includes major corporations, investors, and government institutions. Meanwhile, to serve our international startup clients more effectively, we built a dedicated legal platform, Skala.io.

Focus

We are selective about the projects we take on. We focus on corporate transactions, dispute resolution, and technology regulation. Within each practice, we have specific areas of focus detailed here.

We do not advise on labor law, personal data, or personal taxes. Instead, we maintain a wide network of trusted experts in these and other niche fields. When a specialized issue arises within a deal or dispute, we know exactly whom to call. Our clients value this approach and trust us with their most critical projects.

Technology

Technology is reshaping the world and social relations. Law is simply the set of rules that regulates these relations. You cannot be a good lawyer today without understanding how technology and society are evolving. That is why, from day one, we identified technology as a key practice area and growth driver.

In 2025, we hosted Tech Law Conf—one of the first conferences dedicated to the regulation of advanced technologies.

Team

Today, our team consists of 4 partners and about 20 lawyers. We do not pursue growth for growth's sake. Our relatively small size allows us to strictly control the quality of our work and preserve our internal culture.
