I like taking complex things and making them easy to understand. In my work I look not just for the right answers but for the reasoning that helps clients feel calm and confident in their decisions.

Over time this desire to make the legal world less intimidating for founders led our team to build Skala, a legal platform for startups. Skala offers a full set of solutions that support every stage of a startup’s growth, from incorporating a company and building a team to raising capital and protecting intellectual property.

With experience on both sides of the table, I focus on creating modern legal templates and automating processes that used to take far too long. Alongside this I continue my corporate practice. I support transactions, guide international startups through investment rounds, and develop structures for venture funds and accelerators.

When I have time to step away from work, I either pick up a paintbrush or get behind the wheel of a go-cart. Painting and racing at 90 mph help me switch off from rules and guidelines and remind me that not everything has to follow a pattern.
