Ilya likes to understand how products actually work — and spots compliance gaps that a purely legal review would miss. He spent five years building digital products in education, and now builds privacy and compliance frameworks for SaaS and IoT companies, including GDPR programs and EU AI Act compliance assessments. He scopes compliance to the business decision at hand and calibrates risk against real enforcement practice, not the worst-case reading of the law.

At Buzko Krasnov, Ilya also builds the firm's AI-assisted review and drafting workflows — encoding legal judgment into repeatable steps.

Outside of work, Ilya runs forest trails and builds pet projects with AI.
