What draws him to the crypto space is its rapidly evolving nature — where regulatory frameworks are still taking shape, authorities are constantly shifting their approaches, and lawyers must navigate novel issues that have no pre-existing answers.

Today, Timofey advises crypto and fintech projects on token issuances and their regulatory classification under U.S. and EU laws. He also drafts platform documentation and supports clients in their interactions with exchanges and regulatory bodies.

• Prepared more than five legal opinions on U.S. and EU regulatory compliance for liquid staking protocols, GameFi projects, and RWA tokenization projects.
