Our Experience

Leading European Shipbuilder

Represented a Dutch shipbuilding company in establishing a joint venture with a major Russian oil company in 2016. The JV was created to manage the construction of multifunctional ice-class vessels in the Russian Far East. We subsequently advised on the exit strategy following the expansion of sanctions.

Leading Electrical Marine Systems Company

Provided comprehensive counsel to Royal Van Der Leun on the establishment of its Russian subsidiary in 2020, including corporate tax and compliance advice. Following the onset of the conflict in 2022, we coordinated the orderly wind-down of their Russian operations.

Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM)

Guided TİM’s market entry into Russia in 2018. Our work included structuring their corporate presence, negotiating lease agreements, and drafting commercial contracts with local partners.
