Sergey is the head of the firm’s Russian law practice. He specializes in corporate law, M&A transactions, and general business/commercial law (including customs law, electrical power matters, financing, and currency control).
Sergey is a partner at the firm and leads its Russian law practice. During his over-15-year experience, Sergey obtained deep expertise in corporate, M&A, and general business/commercial law working for Sberbank and such international law firms as Mannheimer Swartling, Borenius, and Dentons.
Through his extensive experience in various positions, including Counsel at international law firms, Sergey has obtained valuable insights in running complex multimillion-dollar projects in various industries involving numerous foreign and Russian clients. He professionally provides prompt, clear, to-the-point advice devoid of legalese.
Sergey constantly explores new avenues to expand and apply his professional experience. Thus, he has lectured at St. Petersburg State University (Law School and School of Management) as a guest lecturer and co-authored articles in Russian and foreign legal publications. Sergey has also obtained an LL.M. degree with distinction from a U.S. university. His wide-ranging accomplishments have been recognized by leading international directories, including Best Lawyers, Chambers Europe, and Legal 500. Apart from law, Sergey likes sports, traveling, and spending time with his kids and beloved wife.
